Admission Requirements


Admission to St.Therese School of Southville (STSS) is open to eligible young boys and girls who can present complete and valid credentials as well as satisfactory scholastic performance, if transferring from another school. It is granted with understanding that the applicant and his/her parents/guardians agree to comply with standards, rules and regulations the school has set.

For academic diagnosis, an applicant is required to take and entrance or evaluation test. An interview with the Principal or Guidance Counselor
follows if the applicant successfully hurdles the exam.

The school reserves the right to deny admission, or re-admission, of any student or enrollee who flagrantly violates commonly-accepted moral,academic and disciplinary norms.

For pre-school enrollees, the following age requirements apply:

  • Toddler - at least 2 years old;
  • Nursery - at least 3 years old;
  • Kinder 1 - at least 4 years old;
  • Prep - at least 5 years old


New enrollees are also required to submit the documents and materials listed below:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Baptismal Certificate
  • Form 138 (Report Card) signed by the Principal, or his/her counterpart, for grade school and high school applicants as well as pre-school enrollees who have already undergone schooling in other institutions; the applicant's general average should be at least 80%, with no failing grade in any subject
  • Three(3) ID photos as well as long brown envelop.
  • For grades four (4) to six (6) and high school enrollees; a Certificate of Good Moral Character or recommendation from the Principal, Guidance Counselor or Homeroom Adviser
  • For Foreign students, an Alien Certificate of Registration(ACR)


Financial Information

Parents/Guardians may choose from any of the following schemes to settle dues on tuition and other school fees.

A.Cash - All fees are paid upon enrollment. Discounts is given to cash payment.
B.Partial Cash - Registration and Miscellaneous Fees are paid full upon enrollment while tuition fees are paid monthly; on or before the monthly exams.
C.Semestral - All fees are paid in 2 equal installments;first payment is due upon enrollment and second payment is on or before the October exams
D.Quarterly - All fees are paid in 4 equal installments
E.Monthly - Down payment is paid upon enrollment with the balance is subsequently paid monthly starting July up to December. Monthly payments is due on or before the monthly exams.
